We've tried to provide you with plenty of information to make your stay as an enjoyable as possible. While you're visiting the website, be sure to pay a visit to the Cabin Diaries, for entries of stays going back to the 1980s.

2015 Update

The cabin is open and the 2015 schedule is rapidly filling up. If you haven't made your plans yet, please do so soon! Highlights of the new season include our new sleeper couches in the living room. Six decades with the old ones was enough.  :-)  The Friendly's Ice Cream Restaurant at US 209 that closed last year is now a Taco Bell.  We have pictures of the new couches and the high water from late June posted in the photo gallery.Take a look!

Want to know how high the water level of the creek is?

Here's a link to the US Geological Service's real-time data for the creek, just below the cement bridge on the way to Bushkill. It's a good way to find out what'll you'll be encountering if you have an impending visit. As a reference point, most of the summer the USGS sensor records the water level in the high 1 to low 2 foot range.  By comparison, when the water was rushing in late June (mentioned above) the water level was around 5 feet.

US 209 Traffic News!

The Marshalls Creek Bypass should give everyone -- especially weekend travellers -- much quicker access to and from the cabin from I-80. There are also alternatives to get around the congestion on Route 209. Find out how by clicking here.
